Georgian Cubs Volleyball

Over the years a large number of Cubs players have enjoyed an amazing week of volleyball training and summer camp activities at Camp Celtic on the Bruce Peninsula.

 

Our club has been approached by a family whose children have previously had the opportunity to play for the Cubs and also attend Camp Celtic. The family has witnessed the growth of their own daughters’ confidence, leadership and passion for the game as a result of their experiences and they have offered to sponsor two Cubs players from this past season to attend Camp Celtic this summer, in the hopes of providing that same opportunity to those who might not otherwise get the chance.
 

Cubs coaches and athletes from 13U to 17U are invited to nominate a teammate that they feel deserves to be considered for this wonderful opportunity.

The sponsoring family is looking for young women who exemplify the Cubs’ core values of teamwork, sportsmanship, friendship, hard work, a positive attitude and passion for the game.

 

The families of the players selected would then be responsible for filling out the online registration form on the Camp Celtic website and the sponsor family would arrange to pay the fees on the players’ behalf.

 

The donor family wishes to remain anonymous. The identity of the players selected would also remain private.

 

Sports camp this year runs from Sun Aug 21 to Fri Aug 26.
